I wasn't expecting much but, If I could, I'd throw my shoe at the stage. This is, hands down, the best massager I've every used. I've had neck and shoulder issues for 30 years due to injury. From time to time a get locked shoulder which takes a great deal of time and pain to work out. I've used a HoMedics massager for decades because the handle and large nobs allowed me to dig into the muscle tissue for deep massage....but this? This is magic. With just one day of HEAVY use my range of motion increased dramatically and the pain associated with it decreased significantly. I guess my shoulder needed blood flow more than anything else. This actually kneads your soft tissue. I literally will never need to ask my wife for a massage again

Most massagers I've used in the past aren't able to provide the pressure I need to work out my tight muscles, but this one totally does! I prop myself up on the couch and lay the massage pillow behind me on my back and let it work its magic. I even used it last night on the back of my legs after my run and it was heavenly. I always get tight in one spot especially in my thigh after a run and I was able to place the massage exactly where the spot was and let it run. I always use it with the heat and it works great.

I work from home right now and searched if there is any neck massager that could help. I landed on the shiatsu neck massager. I didn’t have high expectations but hoped it can help a bit. This appliance is so much better than I thought it would be. It’s just incredible. It’s not as good as a real human massage therapist but it’s much better than your boyfriend massaging you.Very happy I got this, thank you manufacturer.

I work from home right now and searched if there is any neck massager that could help. I landed on the shiatsu neck massager. I didn’t have high expectations but hoped it can help a bit. This appliance is so much better than I thought it would be. It’s just incredible. It’s not as good as a real human massage therapist but it’s much better than your boyfriend massaging you.Very happy I got this, thank you manufacturer.

I like the kneading action of this Shiatsu. From all the list of shiatsu advertised, this particular Shiatsu massager cost the least. It shuts off by itself, when the ac adaptor starts getting warm. The material feels like it is made of leather. But I believe it is made of polyurethane, which actually is better than leather since it won't get dry and will not crack. If you are on the thin side, it could hurt slightly as it will knead the various bony prominence in your body. The only way to solve this is, attempt not to press the kneading attachment too hard against your problem areas while it is doing it's work. The only thing I don't like about the rolling balls is, the balls are too hard. Perhaps the manufacturer can build one that is made of a softer sturdy rubber, so it is not too hard on a bony prominence.

Excellent massager ..I was having severe neck and shoulder pain for a while for which I was going through physio therapy. A few sessions with this massage pillow, the pain is almost gone. Feels tremendous. I use this often for my back, neck and shoulder massage. I have a full body massage chair but it cannot do the upper shoulder and neck massage as this one does. Worth every penny of it.

I loved this massager. But after using it for a few weeks it the needing balls started to make noises like they were skipping every few turns. I didn't want something that I would have to return multiple times so I returned the product. Though the seller offered to work with me if I had any concerns. I like products that work from the get go and that I don't have to worry about breaking down.

I didn't realize that the massager would need to be plugged in to work. For some reason, I thought it would be rechargeable and work from a battery but after that one misunderstanding which was my fault, I really enjoy the massages. It comes with a car adapter so you can use it in the car but I haven't tried that. I recommend it for anyone with temporary or chronic neck/shoulder pain which is why I purchased it. It relieved my pain and the knots of tension I had in my upper back and shoulder muscles.

The massagers are very hard plastic and there is only a little bit of mesh between the massager "balls" and your skin. Personally, I find it a bit painful -- I have to put a t-shirt or something between my skin and the massager. I wish there was a little cushioning or maybe if the balls were made of a hard rubber instead of hard plastic. But I could see someone who likes harder pressure really enjoying it. Also, I find the shape of the whole unit to be awkward; it doesn't really fit the curve of my neck/shoulders quite right. I will say, though, that the heating mechanism is great, and on certain parts of my back it felt really great. The setup was incredibly easy and the aesthetics of the device is great.

I really liked this kneading neck massager however it is not for everyone. I am a small framed woman and the position of the knobs is slightly too wide for me. I am 5'5" 118lbs for reference. The kneading balls kept bumping against my shoulder blades. It was uncomfortable but when it hit muscle it felt good so I kept it on. The next day it felt like I was bruised where the rollers were hitting my shoulder blades. It definelty does the job for your muscles though and the heat function felt great too. I wish that the knob width could be adjusted so that it woudnt hit my bones and bruise me. I had a spine injury and suffer from chronic muscle spasms and tightness in my back and upper back. This massager did feel great on the neck area but again when used on the upper back it was too wide for me. I gave it 4 stars because I think it would work great for someone who is a little larger than me.
